# Dual timers

Dual timer widgets display **two countdown timers** in a single Lock Screen widget, letting you monitor two upcoming events at once.

## Layouts

### Equal

Both timers are displayed at the same size, side by side. Neither timer takes visual priority.

**Best for:** When both countdowns are equally important (e.g., two upcoming deadlines).

### Hero

One timer is displayed large (the primary/hero timer) and the other is smaller (the secondary timer). The hero timer draws the eye first.

**Best for:** When one countdown is more important but you still want the second one visible (e.g., a vacation countdown as the hero, with a work deadline as the secondary).

### Dual rings

Shows both timers at the same time in one compact widget layout. Despite the name, this style does not draw two ring graphics.

**Best for:** Seeing two countdowns together in a compact format.

## Setting up dual timers

1. Create at least **two timers** in the app's Timer section.
2. Add a **Dual Timer** Lock Screen widget (see [Add widgets](/docs/getting-started/add-widgets.md)).
3. The widget automatically displays your two most relevant active timers.## CustomizationIn the app, you can configure:- Which two timers are displayed.

* The widget style (Equal, Hero, or Dual Rings).
* The visual appearance of each timer (colors and style inherit from the widget configuration).## Use cases- **Work + personal** -- Track a project deadline alongside a vacation countdown.
* **Two milestones** -- Monitor two upcoming events (birthday + anniversary, two exams, etc.).
* **Short-term + long-term** -- A near-term deadline alongside a longer-horizon event gives you both immediate and future context.## Pro requirementDual timer widgets are a **Pro feature**.
